Edinburgh man charged with murder of native father, breaches bail circumstances

A man has been charged with the homicide of a well-loved father in Edinburgh. Emergency companies responded to a report of an injured man inside a flat on Primrose Street at around 2.30pm on Tuesday. Local resident Garry O’Neill was pronounced lifeless on the scene. In an announcement released via Police Scotland earlier this week, O’Neill’s family said: “He was a much-loved dad and we ask for privateness at this troublesome time.”
Jamie Boulton, 54 years previous, was arrested and charged in reference to O’Neill’s demise. On the QT appeared before Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Thursday, dealing with costs of homicide and two counts of breaching bail circumstances.
