Evoqua Water Technologies has entered into a definitive settlement to accumulate Smith Engineering Inc, a US designer, manufacturer and servicer of customized high purity water therapy tools.
Headquartered in Chaska, Minnesota, Smith Engineering provides water therapy products and services, including filtration, UV, reverse osmosis, and deionization, for the biotech/pharmaceutical, information centre, meals and beverage, healthcare, medical system and microelectronics markets. The firm has greater than 1,200 prospects in North America.
Evoqua says that the acquisition will improve its portfolio of excessive purity water treatment techniques and expand its service footprint in North America.
